World Championship of Bass Fishing Set for Return to Arkansas Waters
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (Aug. 1, 2011) – The 2011 Forrest Wood Cup presented by Walmart will return to Hot Springs, Ark., and Lake Ouachita Aug. 11-14. Hosted by the Hot Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau, the world championship of bass fishing will feature 116 of the top bass anglers in the world casting for awards up to $600,000 in the Pro Division and up to $60,000 in the Co-angler Division.

Fourth tournament of the season will be ‘wide open’ for anglers
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (March 31, 2011) – The Walmart FLW Tour on Lake Chickamauga presented by National Guard will visit Chattanooga, Tenn., April 14-17 for the fourth tournament of the season. Hosted by the Greater Chattanooga Sports Committee, the tournament will feature as many as 320 top bass anglers casting for top awards up to $125,000 cash in the Pro Division and up to $25,000 cash in the Co-angler Division.

Florida’s Cox Wins Angler of the Year Title
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Sept. 18, 2010) – Mark Rose of Marion, Ark., caught a five-bass limit weighing 11 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday to win $44,778 in the season-ending FLW Series Eastern Division tournament on Lake Chickamauga with a four-day catch of 20 bass weighing 56-15. Rose also received $6,000 for being the Ranger Cup program winner.

Tough Time of Year for Fishing Equals Outstanding Challenge for Co-eds
HIXSON, Tenn. (Sept. 8, 2010) – National Guard FLW College Fishing is headed to Lake Chickamauga Sept. 18 for the third of four stops in the Southeast Division series. Forty collegiate teams will be competing for a top award of $10,000 to be split evenly between the school and bass fishing club.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (Sept. 1, 2010) – The FLW Series will visit Lake Chickamauga in Chattanooga, Tenn., Sept. 15-18 for the final stop of the Eastern Division circuit. Hosted by the Greater Chattanooga Sports Committee, the tournament will feature as many as 300 top bass anglers casting for top awards up to $50,000 in the Pro Division and a Ranger 177TR with a 90 horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard in the Co-angler Division.
