GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (Oct 22, 2011) – Pro Paul Elias of Laurel, Miss., endured a 1-hour, 45-minute fog delay Saturday morning and caught a five-bass limit weighing 24 pounds, 5 ounces to continue his domination of the field at the Walmart FLW Tour on Lake Guntersville presented by Mercury and advance to the top 10 as the crucial No. 1 seed. With a three-day catch of 15 bass weighing 79-8, he now holds a 14-pound, 9-ounce lead in the tournament going into the final day of competition.

GUNTERSVILLE, Ala. (Oct. 21, 2011) – Paul Elias of Laurel, Miss., caught a massive five-bass limit weighing 29 pounds, 3 ounces Friday to widen his lead on day two of the Walmart FLW Tour on Lake Guntersville presented by Mercury. His two-day catch of 10 bass weighing 55 pounds, 3 ounces gives him a commanding lead heading into the third day of the tournament. Of all of the pros and co-anglers from across the United States that started the tournament, only the top 20 will fish day three and the top 10 will compete for the title on day four.

With a three-day catch of 15 bass weighing 61-9, he now holds a 2-pound, 8-ounce lead in the tournament going into the final day of competition.

(Sept. 16, 2011) – Gary Yamamoto of Palestine, Texas, caught a five-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 8 ounces Friday to maintain his lead on day two of the Walmart FLW Tour on Lake Champlain. His two-day catch of 10 bass weighing 41 pounds, 12 ounces matches the second-place angler’s weight, but Yamamoto’s heavier day-one weight breaks the tie. Pros and co-anglers from across the United States and Canada started the tournament and the top 20 will fish day three and the top 10 will compete for the title on day four.

(Feb. 25, 2011) – Casey Martin of Huntsville, Ala., weighed a five-bass limit totaling 25 pounds, 12 ounces Friday to lead day two of the EverStart Series Southeast Division event on Lake Guntersville presented by Evinrude. Martin holds a 5-pound, 10-ounce lead going into the final day of competition. The final weigh-in on Saturday will be at Walmart located at 11697 US Hwy. 431 in Guntersville, Ala., and start at 4 p.m.
