SHREVEPORT, La. (May 21, 2011) – Sgt. Major Wesley of Pineville, La., won the National Guard FLW Soldier Appreciation Tournament held on Caddo Lake Saturday. The team, fishing with National Guard pro Brett Hite, caught three bass for a total of 10 pounds, 9 ounces to take the title and bragging rights amongst their peers.

Healthy grass has weights up in tidal fishery
STOCKTON, Calif. (April 28, 2011) – The EverStart Series is headed to the California Delta May 5-7 for the third of four stops in the Western Division. The tournament will feature as many as 300 pros and co-anglers competing for top awards up to $35,000 plus a Ranger boat with an Evinrude or Mercury outboard for the pro and a Ranger boat with an Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus $5,000 for the co-angler.

STOCKTON, Calif. (April 28, 2011) – National Guard FLW College Fishing is headed to the California Delta May 7 for the third of four stops in the Western Division. Forty college teams will be competing for a top award of $10,000 to be split between the school and bass fishing club; $7,500 for bass club and $2,500 for their school.
