GOLCONDA, Ill. (Sept. 15, 2010) – The FLW Bass Fishing League is headed to the Ohio River/Golconda Sept. 25-26 for the fifth and final stop in the Illini Division for a two day Super Tournament. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards up to $11,000 and $4,500, respectively.

Boater Bruce Ring of Front Royal, Va., caught a 10-bass total weighing 28 pounds even Sept. 11-12 to win $6,531 in the BFL Shenandoah Division Super Tournament on the Potomac River. Jimmy Batts of Raleigh, N.C., caught a 10-bass total weighing 20 pounds, 1 ounce Sept. 11-12 to win $2,266 in the Co-angler Division.

Boater Chris Swearer of Pottstown, Pa., caught a 10-bass total weighing 30 pounds, 6 ounces Sept. 11-12 to win $3,901 in the BFL Northeast Division Super Tournament on the Chesapeake Bay. Nick McKelvey of Collegeville, Pa., caught an eight-bass total weighing 19 pounds, 8 ounces Sept. 11-12 to win $1,951 in the Co-angler Division.

Tough Time of Year for Fishing Equals Outstanding Challenge for Co-eds
HIXSON, Tenn. (Sept. 8, 2010) – National Guard FLW College Fishing is headed to Lake Chickamauga Sept. 18 for the third of four stops in the Southeast Division series. Forty collegiate teams will be competing for a top award of $10,000 to be split evenly between the school and bass fishing club.

Smith Wins Co-Angler Title and Over $6,400
ERIE, Pa. (Sept. 11, 2010) – Pro Deron Eck of Kittanning, Pa., caught a four-bass limit weighing 23 pounds, 1 ounce Saturday to win the FLW American Fishing Series Northern Division tournament on Lake Erie with a three-day total of 10 bass weighing 48 pounds, 13 ounces. For his victory, Eck earned $15,860 and a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard motor.
