Tennessee River Lake Offers Variety of Fishing
FLORENCE, Ala. (Sept. 23, 2010) – National Guard FLW College Fishing is headed to Pickwick Lake Oct. 2 for the fourth and final stop in the Southeast Division. Forty collegiate teams will be competing for a top award of $10,000 to be split evenly between the school and bass fishing club.

Unusually Warm Temperatures Delaying Fall Transition
FLORENCE, Ala. (Sept. 23, 2010) – The FLW American Fishing Series is headed to Pickwick Lake Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 for the final stop in the Southeast Division series. As many as 300 pro and co-anglers will be competing for top awards up to $25,000 plus a Ranger boat with an Evinrude or Yamaha outboard motor and up to $15,000, respectively.

Monsoon-like Rain and Mudslide Add to Tough Day of Fishing
PAYSON, Ariz. (Sept. 22, 2010) – Pro Jeff Michels of Lakehead, Calif., landed five bass weighing 13 pounds, 15 ounces Wednesday to lead day one of the FLW Series National Guard Western Division tournament on Lake Roosevelt. He holds a mere one ounce lead in the tournament featuring 97 pros and 97 co-anglers representing 12 states and Japan.

Regional Tournament Berths On Line At Two-Day Super Tournament
CANNELTON, Ind. (Sept. 22, 2010) – The Bass Fishing League is headed to the Ohio River Oct. 2-3 for the Hoosier Division’s two-day Super Tournament. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $11,000 and $4,500, respectively.

Last Saturday, seven anglers received invitations to the 2011 Bassmaster Elite Series.
They were the top points earners over the three events of the 2010 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Northern Open tournament circuit, which wrapped up Sept. 18.

A Japanese native, the Bassmaster Elite Series pro first came to the United States to compete in a Bassmaster tournament, the 1992 Texas Invitational.
