Toyota Pros Cast for Kyle Busch's Cause

LEWISVILLE, Texas — Sunday afternoon, November 6, Kyle Busch will travel around Texas Motor Speedway in his No. 18 Toyota Camry at roughly 140 mph.
But on Wednesday, Busch slowed to half that speed, boating at 70 mph in Bassmaster Elite Series angler Mike Iaconelli’s Bass Cat for the sake of fishing for a good cause on Lewisville Lake near Dallas.

“The Jersey Score” are the words printed under Michael Iaconelli’s photo, his victory-pumping arm frozen by the camera. It’s an ad that promotes the Feb. 18-20 Bassmaster Classic’s return to New Orleans and the Louisiana Delta for the first time since the New Jersey pro won the world championship there in 2003.

Michael Iaconelli, the 2003 Bassmaster Classic champ and 2006 Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year, once considered becoming a hockey pro.
It’s true — and, according to Iaconelli, a fact not publicly revealed before now.
The story came to light because of a humorous video titled Ice Trolling that’s posted on his website. In it, the Bassmaster Elite Series pro expertly glides across frozen water. When asked where he learned to skate so well, he revealed that he came close to pursuing a career chasing pucks.
