South Korean-based fishing tackle company enters third season of sponsorship
MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 1, 2011) – FLW Outdoors announced Tuesday that Damiki Fishing Tackle has renewed its sponsorship with the world’s leading tournament-fishing organization. Damiki first signed on as an FLW Outdoors sponsor in 2010. This summer, the South Korean-based company launched several new products including the Air Craw, Hydra Evolution and DC 400 at ICAST.

One-hour show covers second Walmart FLW Tour event of 2011
MINNEAPOLIS (April 13, 2011) — The second stop on the 2011 Walmart FLW Tour, which was presented by Straight Talk, took place on northwest Arkansas’ Beaver Lake. With water temperatures in the mid-40s, the fishing was much different than in years past. Instead of sight-fishing for spawning bass, most anglers used jerkbaits – including red-hot Chevy pro Bryan Thrift. The defending Angler of the Year crushed the competition with a total weight of 54 pounds, 8 ounces. Complete coverage of the event will airApril 17 from 1-2 p.m. ET on VERSUS as part of the weekly “FLW Outdoors” program.

(March 27, 2011) – Diet Mountain Dew pro Jason Christie of Park Hill, Okla., caught a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 13 ounces Sunday to lead the tournament wire-to-wire to win his first Tour title as well as $125,000 at the Walmart FLW Tour on Lake Hartwell presented by Chevy with a four-day catch of 20 bass weighing 70-11.

Diet Mountain Dew pro extends lead to 9 pounds, Co-angler Chad Pipkens in 10th
GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 25, 2011) – Diet Mountain Dew pro Jason Christie of Park Hill, Okla., caught a five-bass limit weighing 20 pounds, 4 ounces Friday to extend his lead on day two of the Walmart FLW Tour on Lake Hartwell presented by Chevy. His two-day catch of 10 bass weighing 42 pounds, 8 ounces gives him a massive 9-pound, 1-ounce lead heading into the third day of the tournament. There were 155 pros and 155 co-anglers from across the United States and Canada that started the tournament. The top 20 will fish day three and the top 10 will compete for the title on day four.

Reigning Angler of the Year eyes third tournament of season
GREENVILLE, S.C. (March 9, 2011) – The Walmart FLW Tour on Lake Hartwell presented by Chevy will visit Greenville, S.C., March 24-27 for the third tournament of the season. Hosted by the Greenville Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Anderson Convention & Visitors Bureau, the tournament will feature as many as 320 top bass anglers casting for top awards up to $125,000 cash in the Pro Division and up to $25,000 cash in the Co-angler Division.
