FLORENCE, Ala. (July 25, 2011) – Castrol pro David Dudley of Lynchburg, Va., wrapped up his season-long quest for the Walmart FLW Tour Angler of the Year title Sunday at the FLW Tour event presented by AMP Energy on Pickwick Lake. Dudley, who received $100,000 for the title, joins fellow FLW Tour anglers Clark Wendlandt (2009, 2000,1997) and Jay Yelas (2007, 2002) as the only anglers to win multiple Walmart FLW Tour Angler of the Year titles. Dudley’s first title came in 2008.

Diet Mountain Dew pro dominates Lake Hartwell tournament
MINNEAPOLIS (May 4, 2011) — South Carolina’s Lake Hartwell served as the venue for the third Walmart FLW Tour event of the season. And while Hartwell is known for its clear water and blueback herring, pro Jason Christie ignored both and chose to explore the shallow, stained water in Beaverdam Creek. Fishing to his strengths, the Oklahoma native said he felt right at home slinging spinnerbaits to isolated pieces of cover. The result was a dominating wire-to-wire win, his first on Tour. Complete coverage of the event will air May 8 from 1-2 p.m. ET on VERSUS as part of the weekly “FLW Outdoors” program.

(Aug. 7, 2010) - National Guard pro Brent Ehrler of Redlands, Calif., crossed the stage with a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 4 ounces to lead day three of the Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Lanier, putting himself in position to become the first angler to win the coveted title for a second time. Ehrler, with a three-day total of 15 bass for 39-3, holds an 8-ounce lead over Cody Meyer of Grass Valley, Calif., who caught five bass weighing 11-5 for a three-day total of 15 bass for 38-11. The Forrest Wood Cup, a tournament featuring 78 of the world's best professional bass anglers, will be decided from the top-six pros fishing Sunday.
