MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 20, 2012) – FLW announced today that Luck-E-Strike U.S.A., a mainstay in the fishing industry for more than 45 years, has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the world’s premier tournament-fishing organization for the upcoming 2012 season. Luck-E-Strike recently expanded its offerings with the creation of the Luck-E-Strike RC2 line of crankbaits, the American Original lines of hard baits and a new walleye line, Walleye Fever.

BENTON, Ky. (Jan. 20, 2012) – Entry fees will be reduced for the 2012 Bass Pro Shops PAA Tournament Series which begins in May on Old Hickory Lake in Tennessee.
Official registration begins Feb. 5 for the Bass Pro Shops PAA Tournament Series. Entry fees have been reduced to $1,500 per tournament for the Pro Division. Along with Old Hickory in Hendersonville, Tenn., other events include Neely Henry Lake in Gadsden, Ala., and the Arkansas River in Muskogee, Okla.

The Wisconsin Team Circuit (WTC) has recently joined forces with NBAA. This is big news for NBAA, WTC and the anglers of Wisconsin. The anglers of Wisconsin have always been treated to quality ran tournaments, a great payout and a great experience fishing with the WTC. The tradition of the WTC will not change and has not changed in their 15 years on the trail. The WTC will still be fishing great bodies of water in Northern and Southern Wisconsin and putting on top notch events.

A more savvy Kyle Fox is ready for the Elites: It is somewhat ironic that after only one season in the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Northern Opens, Florida-born and Southern-bred angler Kyle Fox made it into the 2012 Bassmaster Elite Series. The irony is sharper because his Northern success came after toiling four seasons in the closer-to-home Bassmaster Southern and Central Opens.
