Saturday, January 12th 11:30 a.m. is the date and time for this year's NBAA Super Big Bass and Angler of the Year drawings at the Ultimate Fishing Show Detroit. This year you can enjoy special seminars, raffles and a great show at the Suburban Collection Showplace. Anglers from across NBAA who have captured big bass honors or who have qualified for the angler of the year drawings in 2012 will have a chance to win thousands in cash and prizes.

TBF will take on leadership and management roles immediately. NBAA is now owned and managed by the nation's oldest and largest organized grassroots fishing, youth and conservation organization with over 45 years of experience.

What a day on Lake St. Clair! This amazing body of water never lets up! Big bag after big bag of smallmouth bass came to scales at the Lake St. Clair Open on June 16, opening day. The team that topped them all was the team of Rob Ross and Adam Hilldore. They weighed in an amazing bag of smallmouth bass weighing 21.47 pounds!

One of the biggest tournaments in Michigan is kicking off on June 16th. The 7th annual NBAA Lake St Clair Open is launching out of Harley Ensign on Lake St Clair. Last year’s open was one of the best in recent history with the top 30 teams bringing in nearly 18 pounds. It has been said that the fishing has never been better on Lake St Clair and the big weights seem to prove this.

The latest addition to the Power Pole Tour is Lake St Clair with the St Clair Power Pole Tour! Lake St Clair is one of the best smallmouth lakes in the world and now anglers will be able to prove it fishing in the Power Pole Tour Lake St Clair edition. Just like the rest of the Power Pole tour divisions, anglers fishing in the St Clair Power Pole Tour will have a chance to win an 8ft Pro Series Power-Pole.

The first West Michigan Power Pole recently kicked off on Muskegon Lake. This inaugural event drew in 56 teams from Michigan and surrounding states. Despite the extreme high winds teams were able to get out and find the fish, and find the fish they did. 49 of the 56 teams weighed in at least one fish and over 30 limits were brought to the scales.

"For two weekends a year, this area comes alive with awesome NASCAR racing and fishing at Jerry’s Pub!" speedway President Roger Curtis said. "We have a great time with all the anglers and drivers who participate in Fish Your Bass Off, so we decided to extend the tournament to June for more teams to participate."
