Bass Tournament News

Team WYCD heads out onto Kent Lake in the WaveSpin Reel-wrapped boat prior to winning the 2013 KVD Charity Classic on June 10th with 5 bass weighing 13 pounds 15 ounces while led by WaveSpin Reels pro Don Watts.

The team sponsored by country music station WYCD two-stepped their way to a relatively easy victory led by GreatLakesBass.com member and WaveSpin Reels pro Don Watts (LGMOUTH). Also fishing were WCYD's Steve Grunwald, Premier Pet Supply owner Mike Palmer and former Lions safety Stuart Schweigert. Team WYCD finished with a five bass limit weighing 13 pounds 15 ounces anchored by the event's big bass - a giant 5 pounds 14 ounce largemouth!

Another GreatLakesBass.com member captained the 2nd place Team Plano - Aaron Feeback (customfishn) helped his crew to a 5-bass limit weighing 11 pounds 9 ounces while fishing with Greg Yourst, John Bonamego and Roy McBurne.
