MINNEAPOLIS (March 11, 2011) – The 2011 season of “FLW Outdoors” original programming begins Sunday, March 13, from 1-2 p.m. ET on VERSUS. The show will feature 48 weeks of the best coverage of competitive bass and walleye fishing from across the country including coverage of championship events such as the Forrest Wood Cup, Walmart BFL All-American, the EverStart Series Championship and the National Guard FLW College Fishing Championships.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has begun gearing up to return hatchery production of walleyes to historic levels.
The DNRE plans to take some 50 million eggs this spring to produce fry for pond-rearing and direct stocking, an eight-fold increase over the last two years.
