What time are we launching?  I'll be rolling in from Dale Hollow late Friday night and lord knows I always need more beauty sleep!  I know I'm whining 'bout a really bad problem to have.... ;)

...weren't you the one giving me a hard time about being on time???

Starting at 8 AM

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Dan, I may not be able to make this one.  As of now it's my weekend with my daughter and she comes before fishing.  Sorry, but if anything changes I'll let you know.

I'm thinking if I still come it will be as a non-boater.  Still not done with the motor, and no electronics to boot, I don't want to put someone at that disadvantage.

Hi, I'm new to the site. This sounds like a good time. I'm in as a non boater if there's room. maybe I can learn some new secrets for L. St. Clair

Welcome to the site, and the tourney. You'll have a blast.

If 24 boats show up that would be a new DK OPEN record! We need something special to happen if 24 boats show up. Let's see......If we get 24 boats or more, Laporte will eat his hat.

The DK OPEN record will be shattered this year - there should be a nice sized armada of West-side anglers coming over.  The only factor that could potentially cause a non-hat eating record draw at the 2010 DK OPEN is wind speeds.  Added 3 more boats today; I say 30 boats easy if weather is decent - what kind of clothing eating can we see if we go 40?

I wouldn't worry to much about wind speeds...There are a ton of LM bass in the Metro Canals...(Of course this is coming from the guy that wimped out last year because of wind and cold rain..LOL)

mikesmiph

Dont forget the cookout after weigh-in. I still need somewhat of a head count. Cant wait to see some of you westies that I dont see often. Veronica says hi.

TCook

I am planning on going if 1jav wants to make the trip. Unfortunately it sounds like his boat wont be ready and only 6 hours on st clair wouldn't be enough to satisfy me. So are there any boaters fishing friday too that would want a couple guys in the back seat? Also where is everyone staying at friday night?
FISH HARD!!!

What three more boats are you referring to? I only see the one additional non-boater sign up today. I do need a few more boats right now. Thanks,
Dan

Dan,

If you really need it come Sat, I can bring our "other" boat instead of the Champion, it holds 8.

I live an hour from the ramp, driving 70. I have 6 bedrooms. Parking will tick off the neighbors, but I dont care. If anyone needs a place to stay.

Sounds like the Smiph Inn is open.  I really just wanted to type Smiph.  You had to be at the hotel in Novi for the story.  LOL!

SMALLIES, SMALLIES, SMALLIES, SMALLIES!  That's all that is going through my head right now.  Are you sure you can't bump this up a couple weekends?  It seems so far away, 18 days.

djkimmel

It will get here faster than you think. Once it gets here :)

I posted this earlier, but I'll post it again now that we're closer to the tournament date.

I'll have open seats coming from the Lansing area, if anyone needs a ride.

MIBassKid

May have to take you up on that offer Vince. I'll let you know soon.
