Family members must still be a registered member if 13 or older. 17 years old or younger must be participating with a parent or legal guardian. Exceptions to this will need to be discussed with me in advance.

If signing up a family member younger than 16 for this event, they must fish with a parent or legal guardian. They will not be able to register as a forum member automatically. You will need to contact me by PM or phone 810-433-BASS or  email (http://www.greatlakesbass.com/fishing/contact.html) to set this up in advance.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Nonboaters, bring life jackets if you can to make sure we have enough.

I try to make sure there are as few boats as possible with no one that knows the water. I also like to have a mini-seminar before we launch on where to fish. If someone really needs help they can follow me. Fish right by me.

This event is all about everyone catching some fish, having fun and getting to know each other!!! Thank you for being members of GreatLakesBass.com.

Bass Pro Shops usually has them - you want the Golden Rule Weighmaster Largemouth Bass, not the larger blue water model. They are out of stock right now online, but that shouldn't last long. I'm sold out personally and not sure I can get any more at the moment. Cabelas and Gander Mountain don't seem to have them online. I'm sure there are other sources. D & R Sports Center has some in the store sometimes. They will also ship if you call them - 269-372-2277.

Here's a couple links to Basspro.com:

Dunno.  Last I talked to him was early Nov, sent an email just before Christmas but didn't hear back, figured he might have been called-up for something or been on duty then.  I would've thought we'd hear from him before the Groundhog checked his shadow but oh well.

Dan - send him a fake "bill" for his "annual membership" here!  Make it outrageous and I'll bet someone will hear him speak-up!

The fish are going to be shallow, you shouldn't have any problems on St. Clair with your boat. There are lots of protected areas you can fish if it is blowing. You won't have to go far to find fish and the guys can give you some suggestions to areas where you don't have to make any long runs.

You should be fine if you decide to bring it, even if the weather turns all you need to do is turn left out of the channel and head to Anchor Bay for some bucketheads.

Hey, Dan, I know it's a little early yet, but do you have an address for that boat ramp?  I was sitting here trying to figure out how much driving I will be doing that day.  Can't get directions, because I don't know where it is.

Hey Mike if your going over as a non boater you can ride with Eric and I. Could save a bunch of money in Gas. I havent mentioned it to Eric yet but if we wait and tell him that morning then he cant say no. ;D ;D

Sounds good to me.  Wasn't quite sure how well the ride home by myself would go.  I hate it when I start talking to myself, and then end up mad!  Just kidding.  But, that sounds like an idea.

It is not required. To see everything that is required, you can go here:
http://www.boat-ed.com/mi/handbook/pdf_index.htm (http://www.boat-ed.com/mi/handbook/pdf_index.htm) - click on "Other Information" and there is a table that lists the items you need.

OK, boat is hopefully going to be fixed by then, so count me in as a boater.  I no longer have a GPS unit, or a console unit for that matter, so unless someone is nice enough to donate a HB 997si, we may be fishing the local holes so we can make it back in time.  I think I'll let Tim carpool with me, since he does live right down the road.  Anyone got a comfy couch at their house, hint hint McCarter!!

Good deal Jav I hope you can get that sucker fixed by early spring.

You might be able to get a used Lowrance unit cheap since alot of guys are switching over to HB after the Linda Colt ordeal.

If any one needs a place to set up camp for a day or two to save some $ Im 20 minutes north of Anchor bay out in the farm country on 10 acres, my lawns about 7 acres so I could line up 50 rigs pretty easily, I'd get a burn permit so we could have a bon fire and I could run power and water out plus my bbq to a tent/camper area....just a thought.

I suppose we would have to rent a port a jon or something cuz my wife would kill me if we had guys wandering down the halls using the bathroom in the middle of the night...I think if my kids got woke up she'd be p!$$ed  ;D

I have a couple of Lowrance GPS/Sonar combos that I plan to sell as soon as I get around to it.  I have a 320 and a 480.  No 997 to donate though.  If I had one I would certainly donate it to you, but sorry.

Well I sure cant carry 9 but 6 is very doable. Is doable a word? But 4 or 5 would be more comfortable. Looks like we will be taking at least two vehicles anyway we just have to cordinate it. Sounds pretty simple.

This just in doable is a word.

Haha ya I used to really weigh Javs boat down with my gear but I have changed my ways since then. It took me awhile to accept that I will be a co-angler for the foreseeable future instead of getting a boat to store all my stuff in. So I got pretty good at condensing my tackle and bringing less rods, its just been so long since he fished. ;D

Just bring a tube rod, Jerkbait rod, a DS Rod and a handfull of tackle....I am sure you knew that...LOL.....
It took me a couple of years to come to terms with that reality on LSC...I hated to admit it but I only need a few rods and a few lures.....Now boaters look at me when I show up and ask where "the rest of my stuff is at"...I bring more food than tackle now..LOL...
The only problem is that time of year you may end up LM fishing the Canals..And that adds a few more rods and tackle....Hmmmm!! maybe I better keep my mouth shut..

Great response so far folks. 22 boaters, and 15 co. Dan says it may be the biggest turnout yet. Should be a great time. Tell all your friends. Ladies,I keep hearing from Dan about the large numbers of ladies joining the site. To my knowledge, none have signed up yet. We want ALL members at this event. Please join us on the water this spring. We have lots of room. And to all, we will have great eats afterwards. I cant wait.

I'm in as a non-boater.

I haven't fished St. Clair before, so it would help to be paired with someone who knows something about the water....

If your talking about Lance and his crew,,,,,I have been reading his reports on the Walleye fishing on the Detroit River...My Father in law is coming down this friday to fish and I haven't been out yet...His reports have been very helpful...Walleye fishing friday, Wrestling tournament Saturday and catch and release bass fishing Sunday...It is going to be a great weekend.... ;D ;D

No. Not Lance. SethV and Reel Man and grandson.

Lance might come if I twisted his arm, but he'd probably rather be walleye fishing so probably not.

Current count is 24 boaters, and 24 non. At least one boat will have 3 (family), so, one extra boat right now. Thats assuming everyone shows up.

The DK OPEN record will be shattered this year - there should be a nice sized armada of West-side anglers coming over.  The only factor that could potentially cause a non-hat eating record draw at the 2010 DK OPEN is wind speeds.  Added 3 more boats today; I say 30 boats easy if weather is decent - what kind of clothing eating can we see if we go 40?

I wouldn't worry to much about wind speeds...There are a ton of LM bass in the Metro Canals...(Of course this is coming from the guy that wimped out last year because of wind and cold rain..LOL)

So are there any boaters fishing friday too that would want a couple guys in the back seat? Also where is everyone staying at friday night?

We're fishing from 8 AM until 2 PM. Mostly due to the various distances people are traveling, and the mix of members fishing, including family and kids. If the bass are really biting good, we can all go back out for fun afterwards.

I always appreciate suggestions but no changes for this one at this time. I'm open to discussion about future events.

My buddy/new member Riser#? might be coming if he can get off work. He is apparently just too shy to post on here. haha. He is a part of the MSU bass team. You can stick him with me in a boat that can hold 3 people if need be. He won't know until his boss lets him know if he can go or not so it will be best if he can get in a boat that can hold 3 people, doesn't have to be with me but we wouldn't mind if no one else wants to fish 3 out of a boat. I'll make sure he posts on here ASAP, as the deadline is getting close.

read on another site there are nets set in anchor bay.  they are between Harley and the salt river.  I think you have to be member to see the photo.  the GPS coords are listed.  If you are headed to the mile roads you should be safe.

its yours for the day - you just have to pledge your undying appreciation for me to the group at weigh-in in the form of an interpretive dance set. sound good?

Hmmm... Dinkfinder will be taping the action at the DK Open with his Brandi Rawks Productions. I may have to warn him if there's going to be any interpretive dance...

As of today Friday night 5/7/10, we are sitting at 19 to 22 boats
and
22 or 23 nonboaters not counting a couple youngsters.

1 or 2 boaters might come as nonboaters due to various boat challenges which would shift us from 22 down to 20 or 19 and boost nonboaters up a couple, three more.

Bobber will be contacting each of you through PM to confirm your status this weekend.

Okay. I'm 6 or 7 boats short at the moment (depending on a new member's status) and I'm not counting LipRip or FF Jeff since they have not definitely stated they were coming as nonboaters yet.

I also noticed I do not have LAPORTE signed up though he piped in a couple times so I do not have LAPORTE down as fishing.

I can double up and I'm sure a few of you boaters would agree to that for this event hopefully. Obviously, I can't take on a bunch more nonboaters without some more boaters unfortunately.

at the risk of getting stuffed into another boat  - if its easier Dan - you can move me to the boaters list. If Don and I both go from 1 list to the other, that leaves 2 people needing a ride instead of 6. I have to drag my boat-seat along with me anyway cuz i can't stand up all day.

Read this on the SC site.    Hope my flares are still valid.

Just an FYI to everyone. I have been stopped twice by the Coast Guard already this spring, once in Ecorse last week and another yesterday near Nine Mile Road. It appears they have an initiative this year to board many boats and do complete safety checks. Make sure you are up to date on all your safety equipment, flares, life jackets, fire extinguisher, horn, etc. as well as having all your paperwork.

Thanks for the update dartag. Since this is the Great Lakes, extra care is warranted. You can buy a canned horn like I have for a few bucks and have it in the boat to be legal. I can never keep a regular horn working very long and the canned horn is needed to get some of the other boaters' attention.

Please see the MDNRE Boaters Handbook (http://boat-ed.com/mi/handbook/index.htm) for complete information on what you need. http://boat-ed.com/mi/handbook/index.htm

The catch and release board is incremented in a different scale that does not match up to 1/8 or 1/16. The marking are in between so you really need to have the Weighmaster board for the weight to be accurate and the same for everyone. You can click on the link below (not the buy button - not working on here for some reason I just found out) and zoom in to see the markings on the weight side of the board don't line up. The Weighmaster largemouth bass board also goes to 22 inches which some of you will need Saturday (and maybe more :) )

That would be a bigger pain and expense for you, I know, but get me down to maybe one doubled-up boat then - maybe two. I'm waiting to hear from one boater who has not confirmed and one person that might come back in as a boater to even things out (if both agree).

Is this okay with you dude? I will make sure there are good places for everyone to fish. Skip was kind enough to even gave me some additional places to send new people to catch some bass.

If thedude is volunteering that swings us down to only 1 boat (me - I don't mind). I am still waiting for confirmation from a couple boaters so that could change a little again. I will post a draw tonight, but if I have not heard from everyone, minor changes could still occur after I post it.

Since we have several peeps traveling with boats that dont know the lake heres todays report.
I put in 11 hours on the water.

Smallies
Inside Mile roads, 10 fow or less.
clean water, 5 degrees temp drop from last week, still good jerk bait bite and a few stroking tubes, lots of fish up to 4 1/2 lbs, 4 to 6 fow.

Outside, mile roads, 15 fow.
Cold Dirty and TERRIBLE!

Big Muskemoot and little Muskemoot Bays.
DIRTY DIRTY!
Fish are in the back of both bays in 3 fow but pushed off the beds due to a 10 degree (48) temp drop, lots of big easily spooked cruisers that will bite mepps, jerks and drop shotted worms on long casts, fish up to 3 1/2 but not many biters.

Anchor and Bouvier Bay, Terrible, cold and dirty dirty!

Largies
Metro Basin and black creek, Lots and lots of good largies to 4lbs.
Mac n Rays canals, a few largies up to 3 lbs.
Lottie dr canals, a few largies up to 3lbs.
Fairhaven canals, terrible!

Summary
Great fishing in the mile roads and metro basin, cold dirty water everywhere else.
We will have a few days of good weather this week that will definitley help it recover a little.

Dan,
Here's my status.  I worked on my oil leak and never found one.  I replaced a small line from the backup reservoir and tightened the cap.  I ran it for a bit in my yard and never found a leak.  So I'm hopeful that it was just a leaky cap.  I will run the boat this week to be double sure, but I should be fine to be a boater on Saturday after all.  But please pair me up with someone who wouldn't be devastated if we had any issues.  I plan to stay in the Mile Roads.

The anticipation is getting to me.  I have had very little time to fish, being as I've only had 8 days off this entire year.  I took vacation for Friday through Sunday for the LSC trip.  Half way through my 12 hour day today, I put in a vacation day for Thursday.  I am going to beat up White lake Thursday and Friday morning.  Can't wait to see the sun come up on the water.  Saturday just can't get here fast enough.

Dan,
Here's my status.

Great to hear you are back!!! I have you matched up with a new person that should be happy for any fishing on Lake St. Clair. I expect an awful lot of us will just be down along the Mile Roads with you. It's that time of year.

If you have motor troubles you should be able to get a tow back anyway. I bet you have zero troubles though.

at the risk of getting stuffed into another boat  - if its easier Dan - you can move me to the boaters list. If Don and I both go from 1 list to the other, that leaves 2 people needing a ride instead of 6. I have to drag my boat-seat along with me anyway cuz i can't stand up all day.

In which case - Mark - i can't loan you my golden rule!

Skip was kind enough to even gave me some additional places to send new people to catch some bass.

not a prob dan - i'd prefer to fish as a non-boater just to learn the lake better, but i do have at least 1 rider to car pool with so its not that big of a deal if that is what it comes to. there's added benefit in bringing my floating tackle box anyway :D

Just a note, especially for the new people, do not get out there running full speed all over, particularly in low light. Every spring there a number of floating logs, trees and other debris in the lake and some of it will not be floating right up high on top of the water.

I've never hit anything out there, but I came close to a huge chunk of tree trunk once. This is a big river system with a ton of current from the various channels and wind driven.

It will be chilly anyway, so take it easy out there and have everyone in the boat on the lookout for floaters. The odds are rare but not 0. Most of it floats through the system by Memorial weekend, but there are always floaters out there somewhere throughout the season. Of course, kill switches and life jackets are mandatory for everyone any time the big motor is running.

Tuna boat traffic will probably not be real high but beware of boating regulations and responsibilities also.

#1 EVERY BOATER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR AVOIDING A COLLISION. Don't ever leave it up to 'the other guy' to do the turning. Some boaters out there have no clue - have never read any boating guides. I definitely go by the rule - jerk or not, I will give way to the big tuna boat.

When two boats are approaching, the boater on the right always has the right of way. Concede the right of way to be safe. Don't try to beat him/her. He/she may try the same thing. See rule #1.

Do not cut off a large boat that is traveling a limited depth and width marked channel. I'm talking about the channels into the various canals, marinas and small rivers.

Stay to the right in any limited width channel when coming in or out. If a large boat is coming in or out of such a channel, you must get out of their way. Even if you are fishing, you still have to get out of the way of any large craft coming in or out. You cannot cause the large craft to have to risk leaving the marked channel and damaging their boat. Yes, they are responsible for their wake (though later in the summer you wouldn't know it), but in the end, if you cause the large craft to leave the marked channel or risk it, you will be at fault, not the large craft. And if you stand your ground and they swamp you, there will be no winners. Move out of the way and let them pass.

The impact should be minimal for this event. Nothing like the full blown madhouse the US side of the lake can be later in the summer on a warm, sunny afternoon. It should be very enjoyable. Just stay alert to any boat traveling towards you from any direction. Especially if you are in front of canals, channels and rivers. Some of them will run by you like you are a channel marker. That is just part of the fun of boating in a state with a ton of boats and no requirements for knowing boating safety before you buy a boat. Have your horn ready and if someone looks like they might not turn, remember rule #1 above. ALWAYS!! Be safe and enjoy some of the best bass fishing in the world!

I still have not heard from 4 boaters, but assuming they are still coming we are only 1 nonboater over at the moment with you as a boater. I sure appreciate you bringing your boat. I'll make sure there are specific spots for new people to go to and I also try to make sure I don't have any boats with 2 people totally new to the lake in them as much as possible.

You new guys with boats don't worry about it....The majority of guys will be clustered around the mile roads...It is only about 5-6 miles from where we will launch...I am going to try to get out Friday if the weather is decent..I have only been out once this year but I have some GPS coordinates for the Mile Roads that I will be happy to give out...No guarantees but it will give you some places to start....

Thanks for the Report Skip.....I would love just to spend the day in the Metro Canals...Don't get much of a chance to fish LM anymore and it is a blast in there..I am not surprised by the drop in Temp...It has been cold at night....It was running around 48 a couple of weeks ago...What is it now at the Mile Roads...??

Getting close. Down to 3 boaters not confirmed yet.

I'm down to only 2 boaters doubled up at the moment. Time to get one more boater and hopefully confirm the last 3 boaters.

Yesterday I seen cut cord wood to full size floating trees, I came within 10 ft of the tree at 50mph...kinda gave me a shiver becouse I was looking at my gps when I seen it go by so watch for that sort of stuff.
The water was anywhere between 46 to 54 degrees depending on location.
The rivers are dumping in muddy cold water but st clair recovers fast and we have a few warmer stable days before the TX so I predict good weather and great fishin especialy in metro basin.
At this time of year st clairs fish don't need too much coaxing to get them chompin!

We are about even right now. I have one boater who is having exciting family changes coming soon who will let me know later tomorrow for sure if he can make it.

I have one boater and nonboater I cannot get a hold of, but they are related and wanted to fish together so that should not affect anyone. We may end up even or with only 1 boat doubled up (me, I don't mind).

I will post the draw tonight expecting at most 1 or 2 changes since everyone is pretty much confirmed otherwise. Sorry about the late posting but there have been many, many changes over the past week and a half. Thanks to my 'assistant tournament director' Bobber for all your help confirming people's status.

Couple questions,  What area is considered Metro Basin??

I saw you warning about following Skip... what's so tough about where he fishes????

Glad to hear you're signing on now. Especially as a boater. That puts me even as long as the last boater is able to fish too. I'll edit the draw and give you a fishing partner.

I'll have some waypoints and landmarks to give people to have fishing spots. People can follow me too if they want depending on the weather and wind.

I believe by Metro basin he is referring to the bays back up in Black Creek near the Metro Park boat ramp and marina. There are largemouth bass usually back in the channels and along the main creek (Huron Point).

There are very shallow places to run through to get to some fishing here and there on the lake. Some of it is no good and a little of it is good depending on weather. If you don't know exactly where you are going in the real shallow areas, you can run aground, hit a rock or some manmade solid object such as the car in the middle of Goose Bay.

The main lake away from the shallow bays and a few of the channel mouth/edges is relatively safe. A chart is a big help, but things do change a little on a big body of water with all the current. Before I run in some of the shallow areas, I do some reconnaissance to make sure there are no new hazards (maybe a sunken jet ski or something). Some shallow areas I just don't run in. Wind can push or pull water from an area too. Don't want to get stuck or hit a log or something. There's plenty of safe water in the open lake that has a bunch of bass this time of year. Usually more dependable too with the temp changes this time of year.

I've got you covered.
You da man Dan, you da man.  Hope my first trip out in almost a year is great!!!  Knowing it will be!!

I didn't see bshaner on the boater list...I am sure he has been pretty busy with the military...
If he isn't fishing I have an extra Golden Rule that someone can borrow...I need it back at the end of the tourney..I keep on for an extra....

Last time I launched out of Harley as a Co angler I got a little note from the DNR...They wanted me to park in the designated area..Wherever that is....There were only about 10 boats in the launch the day I was there....So there were plenty of spots...
Just something to be aware of.....There may be something marked as single vehicle parking or something like that..I would just make sure if your a Co to park there before we launch....

I saw you warning about following Skip... what's so tough about where he fishes????

Growing up on the Colorado River below and above Havasue...and running a Skeeter that rides real high @ 70mph Im not afraid to run 10 to 12" of water.
I sometimes fish areas that I cut through Sni's and back bays to get too, If you come off plane in 10" of water your boat is hard aground...and you can rip your motor and or transom off which Ive done both.

Ive marked the hazards on my GPS the hard way...by push pulling my way through or just hitting them...another trick is I learned them during high water in the summer so I had a little extra water to deal with then we do right now, I have them marked now but it wasnt easy.

I run light on fuel and raise my jack plate an inch during the spring which helps and when I have got stuck Ive had to pull all 5 of my batteries and tackle out and stack them up in the marsh, push the boat out then carry the batteries and boxes hundreds of yards...sounds alot easier than it is.

I allso run a skeg guard that breaks away and I carry a spare skeg guard with 3 spare sets of pins and a spare prop.

I doubt I'll be running back there this weekend with the temp drop and the sni and river still dumping real cold water from Lk Huron...but dont trust me to live up to that.

Muskemoot bays, Goose Bay, Fisher bay Bouvier bay, some little off shoot bays that I dont know the name of if they have a name and the Sni's linking them have some real prop wreckers in them, cars, quads, snow mobiles, lawn mowers, old wrecks, shopping carts, engine blocks, sunken timber, rail ties, bricks and rocks, if you dont know the bays and Sni's dont run them....especialy when the waters this cold theres not enough fish back there to make it worth it.

For anyone who hasn't spent much time on St. Clair, there's all kinds of interesting things out there with mysterious histories. Talking to some oldtimers about it can sometimes be pretty entertaining though you should expect multiple stories about any one object.

If you're caught nowadays dumping something into the water, they will make you get it out of there, but it is a BIG place and some of the stuff has been there a looonnnnggg time. Don't run through the small side cuts or backs of bays unless you know them very well and preferably have checked them out again each spring.

The main lake is pretty safe. Just get a chart and watch out for the few bars (near the Middle Channel for example) and shallow rocks, along with the spring floaters. It's a pretty safe place for sober boaters who obey channel markers and practice safe boating.

I don't know what Dinkfinders complete plans for his taping our. He has his new show Sunday Morning Fishing and hopefully will put some of the video up here.

There are 'door' prizes. Depends on what I end up with Saturday.

There's a whole role of non-trailer parking along the outside edge of the parking lot when you first drive into Harley Ensign. If boaters all park along that outside edge also first thing in the morning, nonboaters can park in the correct parking and easily walk their stuff over the the boats. Then we can pull around to the ramp area quickly. This time of year it should be pretty easy.

Well I was doing it for fun/pre fishing last monday and the pics show what I just got through fixin today, I broke two jack plate bolts and my skeg guard bolts, I found a new place to put a skull and crossbones on my GPS  ;D
I didnt go back to see what it was but whatever it was it wasnt there last year.
Dont worry Bobber Im not going back there...this weekend  ;)

The Sni's are all the little backwater finger canals that come off the river and drop into the bays.

Yup Dave I think I know the place...and lawnmowers work for good bedding areas also.

Interesting.  I have a couple of quads that I'd be happy to donate to the fish.  Sick of making payments on them.  That would make 8 more beds!  I'd probabl get the same amount of use from them.  I could drive over there to fish 3 times a year, and that would be more than if I rode them.  That really sucks.

speaking of saftey, does any one else have/use marine radios? i've got two (one to lend) hand held cobra marine radios fully charged and ready to go just in case a lawnmower or a quad jumps aboard the bcat.
if you do monitor the radio what channel should we have tuned in?

I'm missing about 3 inches of paint from my skeg from the last time I cut across the back of Goose/Fisher Bay. I've been avoiding that type of water for a while now so I only remember where the car in the middle of Goose is and the big tractor tires.

Last time I ran way back into Big Muskamoot near Little Muskamoot I ran by some sharp, solid metal thing sticking up out of the sand, looking real wicked!?! No more loosey, goosey running around back there for me in a while now. I did see a lot of junk that day, but it's been a while so I don't recall all of it. Maybe a jet ski or something similar? No quads.

The back of Goose/Fisher was where my friend got stuck so bad trying to run into hidden lake that it took 6 hours and a 1,000+ feet of big rope to get him out of there. I'd rather be fishing ;D

Good things there's all those bass along the Mile Roads!! No cars or quads to run into either.

It's really easy. From the south on I-94 East, get off on Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd) Exit 236. Take a right (East) and stay on that until you get to the light at the entrance of Metro Beach.

Turn left at that light onto Jefferson Ave. There's a big Valero gas station on that corner the way you turn.

Stay on Jefferson until it ends at South River Rd. Turn right onto South River Rd.

Stay on South River Rd until the very end were you take a SHARP right into the Harley Ensign ramp. If there's someone at the booth it is right there.

Once you enter the big parking lot, I suggest everyone with trailers park on the left along that first drive until nonboaters are picked up since all the non-trailer parking is on the right along that first drive. We can drive around to the ramp after everyone partners up.

There are a few things I wanted to do, to get my ducks in a row.

1.  Dan, do you have some kind of form we fill out for our fish??

2.  Is there going to be anyone else up there tomorrow??  Me and Tcook are heading up and should be on the water by noonish.  Prolly launch out of Crocker.

3. Anyone else staying at the Red Roof Inn in Roseville??

4.Hey Jerkbait, partner,  I'm trying to get a hold of you.  Check messages.

5. I regularly visit this site.  Don't make a ton of posts though.  I'm still struggling with matching faces with screen names and screen names with real names.  There are a few I think I could pick out of a police lineup but not many.  lol Anyone else want to post here showing name, location and maybe a pic??   Here goes.  Hope the pic works.

Hello fellow fisher folks. I all ready let Dan know but unfortunately I will not be able to attend this year. With moving into new house and working my tail off I haven't had much time for fishing. And now with this shoulder problem gonna be really limited. Good news is the rotator cuff is good. Gonna be on steroids for a week or so to bring down the inflammation down in the muscle so I can get a MRI done in 2 weeks. Gonna keep my fingers crossed everything can be fixed without surgery. Because if the happens I wont have it done til February when the fishing is lousy lol. Anyways you all have fun tomorrow and be safe and take some pics!
