SPRINGVILLE, Tenn., & CELEBRATION, Fla. — Garry Mason, founder and CEO of the “Legends of the Outdoors” National Hall of Fame, announced that the B.A.S.S. organization would be the 2011 recipient of the “Legends of the Outdoors” National Hall of Fame’s American Outdoor Organization of the Year award.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Don Logan, one of three new owners of B.A.S.S., was named the Distinguished American Sportsman for 2011 by the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame on Saturday.
Logan, an Alabama native and resident of Birmingham, was honored for his lifetime of contributions to sports, including his ownership of the Birmingham Barons minor league baseball team, his service on the Auburn University Foundation, and his recent purchase of B.A.S.S.

FLIPPIN, AR (November 5, 2010) Ranger Boats founder and fishing industry legend, Forrest L. Wood, received one of the highest honors bestowed on members of the angling community when he was inducted into the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) Hall of Fame on October 26.
