As usual, the winter open house at Matteson Marine on Gun Lake in Michigan was well attended with great seminars including one I enjoyed very much by national bass pro George Cochran. Read more and see some pictures on the forum.
Before Professional Angler magazine closed shop, they reinforced a great tip for improving a resume to prospective sponsors. Many sponsors said they see very few pictures in resume/portfolio’s from anglers asking for sponsorship that show the angler working with the public
What would you say to a chance to fish Lake St. Clair with someone who has over 80 years of fishing experience on the lake?

2004 has been an interesting year for me. Overall, I went fishing far less than I have the past 10 or 15 years. I had slow days like everyone, but some good ones too though when I did get out.
Monday the 19th is almost here and I can hardly wait. I’m fortunate to be heading to the Sierra Madre mountains in search of giant Lake Comedero bass with the guys from NBAA and D & R Sports Center through Ron Speed Jr of Exotic Outdoor Adventures
