You may! And don't you make that same comment every year?!? I'm sure I was a few minutes ahead of that last year!

I am guilty as charged, I can't resist dusting off an old joke every year for grins and giggles. My memory might have slipped, I guess we were closer to the Valero, my bad.

You are impossible to "not love" you Scott R R - look forward to seeing you 7:21... ish !! (PS: The "ish" keeps you out of trouble every time )   ;D

Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan

djkimmel

Shoot! I think it was the Valero... My memory is about toast! I need to get on top of my axle or I will be riding with someone again. That might actually get me there earlier if I don't have to haul the big rig over...? I thought it helped last year? Maybe not?

Definitely busy. Have moved into development for smart phones at work, so tons of new learning and trying to keep up with a technology moving really quickly.

Can't wait to start fishing. Cleaned the rods and reels today, certainly feeling the itch.

I am gonna do my best to make it, but no boat for this trip.  Thats too big of a lake for me having never been there before.   Time off is not an issue. Just an open backseat is.  I'll know more after ya post  how many are open .   Then I have to find a hotel and a guy that will let me smoke on the boat as long as I promise not to burn it or toss the butt anywhere but my pocket.

It is a huge lake. Definitely want to be careful on it when you are a LSC novice boater. My second trip there was on my own in my old Nitro. A storm kicked up, it got really rough, and I broke my prop hub at 9 Mile. Let's just say, it was a LONG ride back to Harley that day.

I did learn a valuable lesson. That lake changes like crazy. You have to be aware of your area constantly. Last year on the way back from Muskamoot wit Goetsch, there was a sand bar in the middle of nowhere, at least 6 to 8 inches above water. And I do stress the middle of nowhere.

It is an awesome lake. I look forward to every trip there. Can't wait for this one!

TheFishinPollock

It's not the size that gets me. The Bay can get just as bad as fast. I just don't have any GPS map  on the bow. Heck. I have to buy a new one.   I would have noooooo clue where to go or  like ya said. Where a sandbar is.

::that would be a hint for a  donated HDS 10, cause well, my eyesite ain't as good as it use to be  ;D :D::: J/K
