Welcome Brett. This is by far the most fun tournament out there, glad you are joining in.

Jay-MadWags

Dan, what is the number of boats at??  Do you think there will be more anglers this year?  I can't wait!  I'm really looking forward to it.  I have my nephew Evan (the son of Dave "MadWags" Wagensomer) fishing the tournament with me this year.

I will have something of a list by this weekend according to my todo list. I did not like my todo list very much today. I will like it a lot better tomorrow.

It is definitely a good time. Brett and I went over there 2 summers ago, but it was beyond rough, and not knowing a whole lot about the lake, we were unsuccessful. Not for lack of trying though. We ended up on Kent later that day. Hopefully he will get himself an LSC toad this time.

Hey Pollock,  you don't need a GPS.  Just pull out of Harley and head along the shore to the South.  Now if a fog rolls in and you can't see shore, that could be a issue.  But that wouldn't stop me.  :)

TheFishinPollock

Jeff:: Boat prolly won't be ready for the water yet by then. New prop and carpet and a few other things. I only get 3 to mabye 4 days of work in per week at a fantasticccccccccc <cough> rate.  So the amount of extra cash will be greatly reduced. Dragging that  thing down prolly won't me  afofordabe. Plus I can rember some spots with someone who has been there before for future trips.

I always try to make sure I don't end up with too many boats that don't know the water. I can do a mini-seminar at the ramp with a map for those who want it. The whole idea of this even is fun and catching fish!

I'm sure we can find you a boat. In fact, I believe I already have you matched up with a 'local.'

No, I'm not ready to post a list yet but very soon I will do that. Hopefully by the end of the weekend.

If you get put in the boat with Goetsch, prepare to be taught a thing or two. If you find fish on beds, he is an animal. I saw it first hand last year.

I stayed at the Victory once. Not the nicest part of town, but I had my boat and it wasnt messed with, the rooms were clean, and very resonable. I would recommend it if you are trying to save money.

The Victory is okay for saving money. You won't have to worry about your boat. The 2 or 3 times I've stayed there, we were in a group and nothing remarkable happened. It isn't fancy but it's not that bad either. Parking was the trickiest part but we had all our boats and it was crowded. We did pull it off anyway.

The worst we ever did was confuse some people about where we were stopping to eat afterwards. Other than forgetting some plates or utensils.
