I think what the photo reveals is the only picture in existence of the Hardy Dam Swamp Monster, a distant cousin of the famed Sasquatch.

Given the apparent size and physique of the said swamp monster, it should be obvious that an attack or sneak release would not have been quick or silent.

Therefore, this should conclude that it was not Genie that released the boat from its shoreline mooring, but instead that karma took hold and dictated that cheaters get what they deserve!
