Michigan Angler Gets More Than He Bargained For Fighting 8 Foot Caiman
By editor on Oct 1, 2010 | In Peacock Bass Fishing, Brazil, Amazon, Rio Negro, Exotic Outdoor Adventures
While fishing the Rio Negro deep in the NW part of the Amazon in Brazil, Jim Taylor decided he'd like a picture of a small caiman like Randy VanDam did the day before. After spotting a possible subject floating in a backwater, Jim hooks into a beast that turns out to be a big full grown 8 foot spectacled caiman. And he's an angry caiman!! Here's an intro video for the full video. Check it out and watch the full battle (edited down to the best 10 minutes) on the forum at http://www.greatlakesbass.com/forum/index.php?topic=8910.0
