It’s official now! Randy VanDam and I are returning to the Amazon’s Rio Negro river, home of the world record peacock bass, for a rematch again the most amazing freshwater fighter – the peacock bass!

We will take at least one group with back-to-back groups scheduled due to the already high demand for this trip. Randy scheduled it early because everyone who went in 2010 was asking when we were going back, and due to various circumstances, less openings are available down there now so they are filling very fast. Two major outfitters have gone out of business leaving our outfitter, the pioneer Exotic Outdoor Adventures very busy!

We can take only 16 angler per trip and will sign people up who pay the deposit first-come, first-serve. Already one GreatLakesBass.com member signed up. I guaranty it will be a trip of a lifetime for everyone who goes. I know it was for me and I’m counting the days until we return!! Watch for more details on GreatLakesBass.com at www.greatlakesbass.com/amazon and discuss on the forum at Amazon Peacock Bass Here We Come!
