Poor cameraguy hadn't been out in a boat all year so I figured I better get him out fishing. We traveled just a few miles from my house to Lansing's upper pool of the Grand River. This was the morning of August 4th, a Thursday. It wasn't supposed to rain but we had sprinkles trying to dampen our spirits.

Been wanting a new and better video service for some time. I like watching videos sometimes, especially fishing videos. Nice for us frozen Northerners this time of year. Many of these videos are now very well done and educational! I think I may have found a great option to make it easy and convenient for you, and hope you'll check it out and agree at www.greatlakesbass.tv or www.greatlakesbass.com/vid/.

Somewhat tongue in cheek, but Lake St. Clair bass tournament weight record holder Scott Dobson isn't laughing after not one, but two large Lake St. Clair muskies attacked his brand new Minn Kota trolling motor head two days in a row while he was out enjoying some late fall smallmouth bass fishing! In all my years fishing out there, I've had one big one do this once, but two days in a row!?! That is something. Check out the pictures of the damage on the forum.
Fishing with a Legend

How about if the angler inviting you along is an international legend and member of the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame? I said yes, of course, when Bob Brunner, the legendary guide of Lake St. Clair said, Dan, lets go fishing.

My question is, do you think the weather reports have gotten any better? Maybe think about it now while you're at your computer, but really give it some thought next time you're out on the lake and the weather has thrown you yet another curve...
