Well, I took the plunge

   I finally pulled the trigger.  I had been saving money since last year.  I ordered a 898 for the dash and a 788 for the bow.  Now I'll really be able to see the fish I'm not catching.  lolol

we will be needing reports and screen pics too. i've seen "how to" vidios on you tube for tips on how to use and determine just what your looking at it.

Congratulation, don't forget the cords and maybe a mount for the dash. That 898 is big. You'll need to download HB PC so you can TRANSFER WAYPOINTS. Remove your old waypoints and put them on a SD card. LET THE GAMES BEGIN........

   Thanks Huston.  Yeah I ordered the Ethernet cord and I have a lead on which Ram mount to purchase.  That'll be a good start.  Haven't mentioned to the wife yet about a lake maps chip.  lolol  Shhhhhhh  
    Oh, and all I've used before is a hand help gps and that was mostly for finding my way back to the launches.  So I won't have many waypoints to transfer.  However I am more than willing to let my GLB friends donate some of theirs.  lololol

   Yes Herman, purchased at the same place.  They had a good price on ram mounts but were out of stock.  I haven't checked the competition but I bet they have really good prices on the ethernet cords.  From what little I've seen about it, I need a fuse cord or something for these???
