I finally pulled the trigger.  I had been saving money since last year.  I ordered a 898 for the dash and a 788 for the bow.  Now I'll really be able to see the fish I'm not catching.  lolol   :D  :-\' :D

Sweet so when are we going to hit southern lake michigan? ;D
FISH HARD!!!

bob o

we will be needing reports and screen pics too. i've seen "how to" vidios on you tube for tips on how to use and determine just what your looking at it.

Durand Dan

I hope you didn't buy them from the place I did on Ebay.!!  >:(  Luckily Ebay guaranted the purchase!!  ;D

huston

Congratulation, don't forget the cords and maybe a mount for the dash. That 898 is big. You'll need to download HB PC so you can TRANSFER WAYPOINTS. Remove your old waypoints and put them on a SD card. LET THE GAMES BEGIN........

SethV

Cool!  You will love them!  It will totally change your fishing.

Thanks Huston.  Yeah I ordered the Ethernet cord and I have a lead on which Ram mount to purchase.  That'll be a good start.  Haven't mentioned to the wife yet about a lake maps chip.  lolol  Shhhhhhh   :-X
Oh, and all I've used before is a hand help gps and that was mostly for finding my way back to the launches.  So I won't have many waypoints to transfer.  However I am more than willing to let my GLB friends donate some of theirs.  lololol   ;D

Mike S.

You'll love it.  I have spent many hours playing in the garage with mine, and can't wait to hit the water with it.  Was going to go today, but the weather is crap.

About time brotha!!  Did you get yours where I got mine?  I still have to buy two ram mounts, the ethernet cord, a trolling motor bracket, more power cord and two fuse housings.  But, I'm getting a little bit in extra money tomorrow and more Sunday, so I should be set soon.  Give me a call and we'll talk.

Yes Herman, purchased at the same place.  They had a good price on ram mounts but were out of stock.  I haven't checked the competition but I bet they have really good prices on the ethernet cords.  From what little I've seen about it, I need a fuse cord or something for these??????
