Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I hit Thumb Lake up last month near Boyne City.  What a beautiful lake to fish.   I think I'd like to see what it has to offer in the spring.  The fish looked healthy.  Click the link below and then the bottom right of the video next to Rumble to view the video in full screen.

Great video.   I have driven by that lake for years always wondering how the fishing is.

I hope to be back that way this next May.  I may just check it out again.  It surprised me how beautiful it was given how close to a main road it was.

Side note,  I was thinking of hitting Union Lake your way this week, but weather looks pretty crummy.  I may hit something that isn't as exposed.   I was hoping to find those smallmouth with their feed bags on.

Was out on my pontoon boat yesterday. ( My Ranger is broke ).   I caught 3 nice ones and a couple little ones.   for some reason the water is still dirty and the fish have not moved shallow yet.   Also it is still warm.  Good luck if you get out there.

Bummer about your Ranger.  Hope you get that running for next year.

Me to.   Luckily I get to spend 4 months in Florida fishing for Giant Bass and salt water fish.

Yes you are a lucky man.  I think we are leaning at going to the Portage Chain.  It's a good chain to fish to avoid some wind.

Are you fishing with Tim or Jim?

I have been on Thumb lake about 10 years ago... I'd like to get back up there. So many lakes, So little time.

I'll be fishing with Jim.  Tim cancelled Sunday so we didn't fish Lake Columbia.  We mulling it over now.  Maybe a Devil's lake and Wampler's combo.  Might be a morning decision.
