Actually - my lovely wife inadvertently reminded me this will be her first mothers day.... so put me down as a maybe....... and yeah boater!

Mothers Day is May 10. The tourney is May 9. I think you'll make it back to the west side of the state by then. I've lived through 20 Mothers Days with my beautiful bride. My bride and the Mother of my children now just goes fishing on Mothers Day with me......if there are no soccer games that our son could be playing in. I say take her fishing and leave the kid with the Grandparents. Let me know if you need any more "tips" for getting more days on the water now that you're a Dad.

Oh boy!!  Here we go. With the first jacket comment from Goetsch, I was thinking of when I decided I wasn't going to wear my jacket as we half way stuffed a wave and I got a bath.  It now I remember. It was a bad day for my jacket and I.

Anyways, the plan is to go as a boater this year and introduce the new Skeeter to LSC. Plus, I'm going to make sure that I know how to put my coat on by then.

Also, if I have 2 people who want to ride along for the west side, I will bring the Suburban, and we will go back out for a few hours after the weigh in. That's only if I have someone riding with me to keep me awake.

I know I was sure bummed.  I was supposed to fish with him, but ended up 3rd wheel in Goetsch's boat.....with no seat. But, I sure had a good time!
