I am going to be captaining a 2 student per boat #'s only bass tournament on Green Lake in Interlochen on Saturday May 19th. We will field 2 teams representing Benzie Central High School against a host of other schools from Benzie, Grand Traverse and Leelanau counties.

We are going to try to prefish but if any members on GLB happen to fish Green before the 19th and want to share any catch info we would much appreciate.

We won the tourney last year but the other schools now know our hotspot and have bigger/faster boats to beat us to the spot.

Thanks!
Joe

Give them a speech about honor before the tournament? :) Worth a try...

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Last year we prepared well had a good game plan on where to fish getting them fired up right before the tourney started waiting as the other boats were dumping then they see one team boat with 2 pretty high school girls wearing beach wear.

I thought my guys were mentally done at that point. I have to give them credit though after several minutes of drooling they put there games faces on and caught a bunch of fish.

I have seen tactics like that used before. A true 'professional' can still go out and do what has to be done! Good luck!
