Well PB and I went at it again. Thinking I was still down (wich I am) from losing my fav rod and reel, and fresh off a defeat, PB figured I was easy prey.We headed out to the river. We arrived at 5:00 pm winds were blowing hard out of the NE. We headed to our first spot near Fawn Island, the water was as dirty as I have ever seen it up there. On my first 2 casts I land a 2 1/4 and a 4lber. I look at PB at remind him even with out my confidence rig, I can just use another. Both fish came on tubes. PB ever the trailer, finally gets into the game and lands 2 of his own including a 4lber both on a drop shot. The fishing really slowed down after that. But not before I land another. We then moved up by the stakes, where PB ties things up, and all I get up there is 2 Eyes. We started working our way back home, and stop once again near Fawn. With the score all tied up, the smack talking was on. We fished the same area as before with about the same resuts. The bite was slow, but the fish are still there.

Final Score Maize 6 PB 4
