I'm going to hit either Orion or Oakland this saturday.  LSC the following week.   Just finished my chores and got the batteries rigged.

No digging the forecast.  I hate 40 and rain.

I was planning to hit Orchard Lake. I don't mind the cold as long at isn't coupled with some nasty wind.

Anyone know what the water temps have been on some inland lakes? Is it any warmer than normal due to the crazy warm weather we had?

White or Muskegon for me!

You're either in the driving mood or doing some secret research project over there still?

Good luck everyone. Not sure what I'm doing yet or where. Tentative plans so far.

I am up to some secret research over here...actually working at the NOAA field station now right on the pierheads of Muskegon Lake. Living over here now too so I'll be double dipping this summer and spending time on both sides of the state! Really looking forward to learning some of the lakes on the west side.

Long Lake here in Portage. Will be out fishing for northerns for a tournament, should be a blast!

Well, it has been decided that I'm not going back to work this week. So, I will be on Muskegon or Mona for opening day. If its real windy, definitely will be on Mona.

I can't decide.  I'm thinking the Grand River because I'd like to fish some of the Grand River Opens this year, since they're close.  I feel like this is a great time of year to find where the big fish really live.
