Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Dad and I hit Fremont this morning. We couldn't get a bite. Low 40 degree water temps, what I'm assuming was a paper tournament, and walleye guys all over the place. After 2 hours, we loaded up and headed to Muskegon.

Once we got into my favorite/secret spot, I commenced to kicking my dad's butt. I got 17 smallies and 3 green bass. Biggest smallie was 3.02, and a 2  pounder to follow. Two of the largemouth were in the 2 pound range. No monsters. Unfortunately my dad drew a big goose egg for the day. I had fun.

Not nice back seating your dad like that.

Oh, and I know that spot.   8)

Mike S, were u at Cabelas in Grand ville a couple Sundays ago. From your picture someone looking just like u was wandering in the boat dept like I was.

Mike S.

Yes I was. I had my wife and kids with me. We were just checking things out.

Same here. Had to go to moms in Detroit area on weekend and while driving back north thought I would check out new store. I hit the new Cabelas Outpost in Saginaw on way down which is very teeny. Fishing area was size of my living room.

For some reason I noticed your picture and remember I saw someone resembling pic looking at the ranger boat in their showroom.

Mike S.

I was looking. Sparkly boats catch my eye every time.

You boated 20 and your Dad none ????    Is he stubborn and not want to change baits or what???  lololol

Mike S.

Honest to god truth, he was using the exact same bait. I don't know what his deal is lately. He better get it together. He finally went and ordered himself a bigger boat to fish out of. One he can actually stand up in. Would be a shame to get skunked in his new boat on the first ever outing! ;D
