I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

If the water doesn't come up muskamoot will be impossible to get in or especally out.

Mike S.

I will have to get an air boat then. Problem solved. Don't need a livewell anyways.

I can't come get anyone unstuck. Just remember that... and don't get hurt or wreck anything!! Please.

I know where there are usually some nice fish shallow but my boat can't be replaced (assuming I have it back and the truck fixed by then) and I'm not risking someone elses boat to go after them. There's plenty of fish to catch without busting props (I already have a ding from the last time I tried), knocking off lower units, getting the boat stuck, punching a hole in something or flipping someone out of the boat.

Do any of that... and you will probably miss the cookout!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

PS - remember no talking on this forum about fishing (or 'scouting') parts of the lake that are out of season. When we bring Michigan and Ontario into the Modern Age of no closed seasons, we can talk about all that plenty then! (It will happen - just going to take a lot of writing, sitting in a number of boring meetings and listening to a fair amount of crazy talk and 'untruths' passed off as 'science.')

I'm in as non-boater if I don't have to work. Have to wait and see though.

We are in luck. I happen to know a guy that has expertise in pushing boats off of sandbars. A 20' Skeeter with the motor trimmed all the way up, and the jackplate all the way up takes 3 people to push it off the sandbar. That's even with the boat tipped to one side because the water is just that shallow. An 18' Nitro takes a 12' aluminum boa and a 10 horse outboard to get to shore from the mouth of a river. Don't ask how I know these things. Just lessons I have "heard".

I have faith. The water will be up, and it will be game on. If not, the trick will be really long casts.

Somebody has to be chomping at the bit. I'm waiting to take delivery of my new pontoon, and I'm going nuts. I would really be going crazy waiting on a new bass rig.
