I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Just wondering what brand crankbait you guys love to use

Mike S.

I have 3 favorites. Bandit, Bomber, and Norman. I throw everything from all 3.

mikesmiph

primarily Strike King for me. Love the square bills. Tried a couple River2Sea this year, liked them a lot too. Caught some fish on them too.

Hhhmmmm...all good responses:  I would have to say: 1) Bandits (mostly 200 & 300), 2) Fat Free Shad, 3) square bills like Strike King KVD or Manns Baby 1 minus, 4) DD 22's, and of course the occasional Lucky Craft.

If I could have only 1, it would be a "Good Old" 1/2 ounce Rat-L-Trap in Diamond Dust with Gamakatsu hooks. ;)

What are these "crankbaits" of which you guys speak?  Can I texas rig them?  Can I drop shot them?   ;D ;D

I have boxes of them.  My favorites are C-Flash 38's and 44's along with some RC 1.5's and 2.5's.  I did have some late season luck on a couple Jackal models.  I also have a bunch of KVD square bills just like everyone else.  ;)

Sometimes I love the fact that most people think I never throw a crankbait.   8)
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

YpsiBass

Love my Jackall Cherry Zero Footer and Megabass Vision 110. The Strike King KVD series cranks are way easier on my wallet though.

If you havent thrown a Ram Potbelly or Little horn, you are missing out. Poes can be great and Fat Free Shad too. C flash are awsome but break very easy, so do not slap the water, pull weeds off by hand

I have seen it once. He's just not very good with them. Lol!!!

Thanks Dan for bringing year round Catch and Release to Michigan

djkimmel

My favorite depends on the lake I'm fishing, how deep, weather conditions and time of year, along with the final part being the one that starts catching the fish real good. That's my favorite.

I don't think I could pick one. It's like songs. I have lots of favorites.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I have been using Excaliber rattle baits in place of Rat-L-traps, and I am quite happy with em.

I am not a big crankbait guy, but I recieved a few RAM square bills and instantly caught fish. By far the best producing crankbait I have used.

fishstick

C-Flash, Koppers bluegill, DD22, Jackall aragon...Strike King, bandits, and Rapala Dt's spend some time in the water too.
