Skip Johnson Finishes In the Top 25

Our own Skip Johnson finished his tournament on the Detroit River in 20th place in the FLW Tour.  He gets a check for $10,720.  I'd like to be the first to congratulate you.  Nice job Skip!!!  Way to represent!!!

Thank you Bill, just seen this post for the first time.
It's going to be tight but I cashed just about enough checks this year to fund most of the 2013 FLW Tour season, hopefully I can cash a few checks again so I can stay in the game.
I'm fishing the Tour about 4 years sooner than planned because my business in this economy is crappy, at this time it's 100% without sponsor $ = 100% on my $ all while trying to keep my wife in Med school and feed my family etc etc, just a bit scary dropping that kind of $ on 6 tournaments, my fingers and toes are crossed that I hold my own against the best sticks in the country.

Looking like I'm doing Bassmaster Northern and possibly Southern Opens instead. As much as I want to fish the Tour right now I want to take a few more swings trying to qualify for my dream of fishing the Bassmaster Classic.
