Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Yesterday at the Natural Resources Commission meeting in Lansing, science prevailed thanks to many, many persons who took the time to write in, and especially those who showed up to speak before the Commission on Commissioner Walters’ amendment to close bass fishing on the Inland Waterway and Black Lake from May 1 until the third Saturday in June.

Got a steal on a helmet cam!

I went to Dick's the other day with my family to look at skateboards for my son's birthday.  Upon looking around, I see this Hero helmet cam sitting in a locked glass case.  Oh, I'm interested.  Been wanting one for two years now, but didn't want to drop $200 on it.  So, I walk up to the case, and notice that it's marked down to 99.99.  Now, I'm really interested.  I ask the guy at the counter if that's the right price.  He says no, and as I'm walking away, he says it's 49.99.  OH YEAH!  He couldn't get it out of there fast enough.

This little camera is totally waterproof to 100 feet.  It comes with flat and curved mounts.  It comes with a strap for your head, kind of like a miner's hat would have for a light.  And, there are just so many different mounts you can get for it, it's insane.

Now, I can freak my wife out with the way I ride my snowmobile and quad!  But, I also get to show her how I drive my boat.  That means many more quiet days on the water for Mike!  Not bad for 49 bucks.

Cool.  It sounds like a fun toy to tinker with.
I have a flip cam that I use.  Instead of taking pics, I take a video then I can go home and take snapshots of the frame that I want for a pic out of the video. It actually works better for me than a camera.
I also have the handle bar mount for my Harley.  I only used it a few times though. I found myself messing with it more than paying attention to the road. Not good. :o

So if we are around Muskegon and se some dude fishing in flip flops, shorts, t-shirt, and a helmet, it's probably you then right Mike?
