I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I heard you had about 20 people - that's pretty good.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

It was fun hanging out and putting a few more faces with names.  Thanks to all the guys that took some of my "inventory" off of my hands.

I had a good time as well.  Perhaps a little too much fun.  Jeff and i decided to spend some of that hard earned money at Greektown Casino.  I lost about $150 dollars and the contents of my stomach on the way home.  I think it was the rice pilaf that did it.  Sorry about the mess on the side of your car Jeff. :o

that sounds like tooooo much fun...   rigged up the rod i got from jeff..  Froggie likes it.     those Bronze Eye Frogs look great just hope they catch fish...

I wish i could have got there sooner because it took my 1 hour to load my truck and then another hour to unload it at home. If any of you are interested in some of the case plastic stuff I have send me a PM and we will see what we can trade.

Still bummed that I couldn't go.

I'll bet my wife is glad though.

Can you believe this, she actually thinks I spend too much money on fishing stuff?

Incredible!

I didn't think one could spend too much on fishing stuff.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

It was good to meet everyone that was there Saturday. I wish I would have had more money to spend, that 6' 3" Kistler medium action casting rod that Jeff had was calling my name! I could still hear it when I got home!

Stackenem, I will be fishing the ABA on Neppessing as a non-boater. Maybe we can share a ride and save some gas money. Let me know.
Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

Us west siders miss out. Seems like everyone on this board is from the east side. Would have loved to make the swap. I'm interested in getting some rods for this year if anyone has some. Looking for 2 spinning and 2 casting.

Dan - I'm trying to get more members over on the 'sunset' side. A couple things in the works.

I'd appreciate if you tell all the angler you meet. Word of mouth is still the number way we get new members on here. You guys and gals are just more spread out over there too than the SE population mass.

I actually drove about an hour and 20 minutes to get there then stayed the night...that's commitment  ;D  i did drive down from Saginaw, but I brought my wife we stayed overnight for a little get-a-way..

Jeff (jcheetam) had a bunch of rods for sale, I sold a couple too...I'm pretty sure Jeff still has some he'll sell off.

If you like St. Croix Avids (casting and spinning) and/or Premiers (casting), I may have something for you...What actions are you looking for?
Jeff

Dan

Hey Jeff,
I like a 7 ft spinning rod for making long casts for those spooky smallmouth. Medium action. Casting rods I like in the 6' 6" area and again medium action. Haven't used the avids, and not sure if I can afford four new ones, but I need 4 new rods.

These are all used rods, most slightly used.  I'll PM you with what I have left.  I have a couple casting rods which you may be interested in and 1 spinning rod.
