I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Bass Cat just announced today they were bringing an all new designed boat to the Classic. Should see a bunch of stuff unveiled there. Only hours away from the take off.

looks like they still haven't figured out how to make them look not ugly yet. i know they are great boats, but the lines look straight out of 1978 still.

Looks beautiful to me. I think I may have found my new dream boat.

Dan

I bought a used Cat and have been very happy with the boat. It feels like your on a pontoon with the amount of deck. It also was so well designed and ahead of its time, I feel in terms of the recessed foot control, rod lockers, lighting, etc. I am interested to see how the new storage and console, etc. are put together.

Number one boat on customer Satisfaction by JD powers for how many years in a row now???  I can email the Owners of the company and get a response within 24 hours..Can you do that with any other brand?? I doubt it....Unless it is a Stroker or something along those lines....

Bass Cat Rocks....It is the brand I have now and will be the brand I buy when I go with something newer.....Their customer service is second to none...In today's environment customer service ranks pretty high on my selection criteria when making purchases..

after all if your running short of time just let off the gas and you won't need to take a shower

yup they are ugly in some peoples eyes....and in a lot of peoples eyes they can sit there and watch them go by....they might not be the fastest...but there is somethig about every boat that somebody doesnt like. that is why there are so many companies building them. but when you find something you like you stick with it....best customer service in the industry 5 years running....guess i will stick with my cat until it gets old and it is time to put it to sleep and get a new cat....and that erya is looking good to me...

I can honestly say that have never been treated by a company as well as Bass Cat has treated me.  If our car companies behaved in a similar way, I doubt they would be in such a mess.

As far as the way they look, I have yet to pull up to a launch and have at least one person compliment me on the looks of my boat AND can honestly say it is the only boat, that while coming home from a tourney, a car load of young ladies pulled up next to me and while yelling "nice boat" gave me let's just say a 'nice eye full of twins'.   ;D

No one said anything about bass cats being a bad boat, i'm sure they're all of what u guys are hyping them up to be.........."thedude" and I are just think they're fugly......thats it! Everyones entitled to they're own opinions on whats purdy and whats not! ;D

thedude

yeah. i know they are one of the best rigs out there - don't have to justify owning one or liking them to me. I just figured at some point they would smooth those babies out and finally do away with all the crazy angles and curves you used to see in the 1985 year models.

I love the old school look, same with Gambler. I really want a Bullet though. Keep dreaming.

Some of you probably know, but Puma won a brand new sparkly Bass Cat all decked out with trick wheels and the whole she bang winning the Bass Cat Owners Tournament. He and his partner bested a field of about 600 boats! Quite an accomplishment. The Pierce family throws a good party at their Owners tournament.
I remember the first time I saw that boat. It was before dawn, and it was sitting under the lights of a gas station. What a beautiful sight! Talk about flash and pop.  That boat is gorgeous in my opinion.  I do understand though that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I could probably learn to love quite fondly any new boat that came my way. I do like my old 98 Jag though. I don't think I'll ever get to own a new boat. Maybe an upgrade some day. Retirement is nice, but the monthly check doesn't allow for new boats. Not complaining though. In this economy, I'm happy to be where I'm at. Just made that retirement in the knick of time. Now if the state stays solvent I'll be alright.

YES!!!!!

I gotta admit, I'm not overly impressed with the lines of the Cat's either.
But.....

Show me the right boat, at the right price and I'll buy it.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.
