St. Clair is fishing very strong!!! Ohio's Vic Vatalaro leads with 21-11 along with 10 other limits topping 20 pounds!! Lot's of GLBass.com members and Great Lakes anglers within very good striking distance including Bryan Coates sitting very strong in 2nd only 2 ounces back at 21-9!

Last year's champ - our Steve Clapper had a solid day with 18-12.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Read between the lines, no pros talk this much.  St. Clair is going good but Erie will be more of a factor when all of the dust settles.

i'm not that familiar with St.Clair, but it sounded like alot of guy's fished up there. Can St.Clair hold up for 3 more days? There had to be over 500 or more transplanted to the river yesterday.

People much more qualified to answer that question than me are all fishing the tournament.   My limited experience here talking would answer that there are plenty in the 2 to 3.5 lb class to hold up.  The ones that are needed to win, I dunno, but there's alot of fish in that lake.
Wonder if any pros have put together a game plan to fish Clair the first 2 days and make the cut then go to Erie.  Could be a good plan if you have spots on both since Erie isnt losing as many fish, or so it seems.

The guys from Ohio are kicking butt...I see Andrew Lemle just moved up quite a ways on the Co-Angler side...Last I checked he was in the top 5...
You Buckeyes keep that up and we aren't going to let you come up here and fish any more... ;D

stackenem

looks like Kim Stricker from Howell made a bit of a move today up to third.
Remember you don't quit fishing when you get old, you get old when you quit fishing

Hey Moto, it's just that we don't get up there very often, so when we do we just have to make it worth our while. Besides, after fishing these tough Ohio waters, St.Clair is like a vacation.

Looks like the Michigan guys redeemed themselves today...Great job..I think there where at least 3 in the top 10...
