Volunteers for Michigan Sportsmen Against Hunger will collect the food and donate it to area food banks. Neal Easterbrook, MSAH founder, said the food donations fill a huge gap because they allow non-profits to spend their money on shelters, counseling and rehabilitation for those less fortunate. �It�s good to know that people can count on the sportsmen and women of Michigan to come through in time of need,� Easterbrook said.
The Ultimate Fishing Show�Detroit is at Rock Financial Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave. in Novi. Doors open at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, and close at 9:30 p.m. The show runs through Sunday, January 16.
Show hours on Thursday, 2:00 to 9:30; Friday, Noon to 9:30; Saturday, 10:00 to 9:00; and Sunday, 10:00 to 5:00.
