Did you have to coordinate with the DNR or the sherrif's office to use that spot from last year???

No coordination. As long as no other group is already there. No permits required that time of year, but odds are good there won't be any other large groups there on May 14.

If there is no one to be there to watch things (I'm planning on fishing ) probably won't want to set it up and leave it there all day. Maybe just in the afternoon if needed. I'll come in a little early.
