Im stuck literally.  I tried clearing a couple swimbaits and they stuck.   not bad but the joints sticky.  I tried lite and high build flexcoat.  Its what I have and its what I use on my regular baits.  I'm sure Dn would work but I like the durable coat that I get now.  But I am almost out so..........Is there a way to get these things to not stick when they are drying on the wheel?  I had it rigged so it didn't flop around and mar the paint but then the epoxy ran into the joint.  And I avoided that area because the first one i did was ruined because of it.  Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I use a hacksaw frame to suspend jointed baits when I paint and clear coat.  Since you use epoxy, you would need to come up with a jig to attach it to your drying wheel.

Its not so much the jig.  I like the hack saw idea.  would you use wire to attach bait to it.  Now I use a couple of small clamps, toungue depressor and a xacto knife handle it works but has to be set up just right in order to paint.  I have an issue with epoxy getting into the joint.  I want some on the hard leading edges so they don't chip but it still leaked in.  I read about some guys using rubber banda or frisket papper in hte joint but how do you do that with a magic swimmer or a king shad bbz ect? I don't want to risk scratching paint off when i isolate the joints from the epoxy. I have two that are kinda stuck.  I tried"digging" it out carefully to avoided messing up the paint real bad but there has to be a better way.  I did try a drop of wd-40 in the joints off the two that I have coated and it WORKED!!  Its not sticking or hanging up at all.  I wonder if that would work to keep the epoxy from sticking when I clear it.  Like cooking spray or something.

I use wire to attach the line tie and rear hook hanger to the hacksaw frame.  Magic Swimmers and King Shad are perfect for this.  However, when you start playing with Tru Tungsten, Spro, Reaction Strike, etc that don't have a rear hook hanger, you have to come up with other ways of connecting the rear of the bait to the frame.
