I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I have a Mercury 150 XR-6 outboard on a Triton TR-186 What is your guess on miles per gallon? This is not fuel injection, its the standard carb.

I'd say about 2mpg

Give or take a little.  I've got the fuel injected 150 and get between 2-3 on tourney days.  The rest of the time I run it pretty easy and can get around 4 (these are my best guesses of course).
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Maybe 4 downhill.  :o

It would be tough to guess mpg. Its probably better off not knowing. Unless your planning on making a 40 mile run.... And then I still wouldnt trust a guess.

I had one on a Bass Cat years ago.  WOT it was about 2 mpg, at 4000 RPM it would get about 3 mpg.  With that small tank in the Bass Cat I didn't have very good range.  It was an older Pantera (1988) and I think it only had about a 20 gal tank.

I still run mine and about 2mpg at full thottle but I usually stay around 4000.
It is bulletproof and that makes up for a lot of gasoline.
