Is that a question?

Whatever it is, the first day for catch and immediate release smallmouth fishing on Lake St. Clair is April 30, 2011.

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.

I figured it out. But you were going by the old test season that was discontinued when we moved to a statewide catch and release bass season several years ago. The correct opening day for catch and release smallmouth or largemouth bass in the Great Lakes and Lower Peninsula is the last Saturday in April every year.

It sounds like you are as anxious and excited as I am for the season to start Mike, but let's get through 2011 first. I don't want to skip over the 2011 season right into 2012 and miss all the great 2011 fishing.  lol.   ;)
