Move went fine. The new server is much faster. Which is good!

I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

Have been waiting to get into airbrushing and finally got me a starter kit. Now for the trial by error. One question to shorten my learning curve, What kind of primer to you use? I read you could use any old primer so I got some plastic primer and it seems to be pretty runny??? even tried to put it on light and didn't seem to work very well. I did scuff up the old bait and wiped it off with paint thinner. Any other tips would be great.
Your either getting better or worse you never just stay the same

Cheetam is the guy when you want to talk crankbait painting.  I hear the fish even call him.

If you are doing repaints, lightly scuffing the finish so it isn't "glossy" anymore will give your paint something to adhere to.  I use a Createx White 90% of the time as a "basecoat" when doing repaints.  All you're looking to do is cover the old finish.  Since you have scuffed the original finish, the basecoat is really all you need.  If you are making baits, whether wood, resin or pvc, then a primer like Polytranspar Superhide White will help prep your bait and give your paint something to adhere to.  Hope this helps...
