Got em pretty good again.  Still a good stickworm bite.  Got a nice 20.25" smallmouth from a bed and a 18.75" largemouth ( i think it was pre spawn, very fat and not beat up ) on a drop.  A bunch of small keepers as well.  Threw top water for a couple minutes and lost one smallmouth about 16".

Like Jeff said in another post, there is something for everyone out there right now.  A bunch of different stuff is working for different guys.  Crankbaits have been producing some bigger fish.  Spinnerbaits have been working well.  Dragging plastics is working.  Everyone i talked to out there was catching fish in different ways.

Wish i could fish the OBM open.  Good luck to all fishing it.

tomorrow i start talking poundage, so expect to see something in the 5lb range.

The fish only weighed about 3.50 lbs.  it was skinny, but on the bump board i think it went 4 lbs 10 oz if memory serves.  could have used a couple like that in the Kent Lake ABA.

I thought getting a tan was reserved for the non-boater?  Great...now I have to actually fish...I even had the perfect speedo picked out...

Speedos and fishing do NOT mix...!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

On my boat there's no such thing as a perfect speedo, no matter whose wearing it.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Years ago, there was a guy who fished the federation classic series, and every hot day somewhere along the way, you could count on him stripping down to a tiny black speedo.

You just can't concentrate with something like that anywhere near you. It just ain't right. I think he did it for psychological warfare of some kind. Make the rest of us too uncomfortable to be at the top of our game...?!?

due to the bright conditions and fishing shallow the Bright Pink and Lime green speedo's could not be worn..  i think the park has a " No Thong " clause so we could not ware them either.  so we just fished.  had a great day.  caught some nice fish and finished 4th..  i am sure if we wore the speedos they would have given us the first place money to go away..   got to admit it was nice being on a lake with no jet skiers or tubers..

Skulley

Isn't wearing a speedo now considered indecent exposure.  You can end of on the sex offenders list for that.  You can end up on the sex offenders list for urinating in the woods or off the back of your bass boat............  ::)
