Firefighter Jeff

Sorry Brett, haven't been out there since the spring DK Open.  Good luck to you !!!  Wish I was there with you.  My trip comes in about a week and a half.   ;D  So I'll be begging for some asssistance later.  lololol

Normally this time of year the South Shore is the place to be but with these north winds and rains it will probably be a muddy mess down there this weekend.....
If I were you i would go to the old stand by and fish the mile roads working at different depths to find where the fish seem to be...Look for schools of baitfish on your graph...
You are going to have to find clean water...If the water is dirtied up at the Mile roads try Anchor Bay...
As far as baits I always start out with Crankbaits and work my way slower and deeper from there....
Should be a good weekend weather wise..Dress warm and have fun...

I have heard the Mile Roads bite is picking up again. Hope it's true.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Really going to have to beat that crankbait thing into his head.  In the 7 years I've known him, I don't think I've ever seen him throw a crankbait.  Not sure he even owns any. ???  I've got plenty.  Hope we find some fish.

Make sure to bring some DD22's and DD14's. I also love to throw some Strike King series 4, 5, and 6. Sexy shad always seems to work for me. If the water is a little muddy try chartruese sexy shad. Those baits will have you covered from 8-18fow. There's nothing better than getting your arm nearly ripped off by a giant smallie while throwing a big crankbait. You should also try some lipless cranks and jerkbaits. As previously mentioned you gotta find some clear water.
