went out to kent lk for the 1st time this year yesterday and saw alot of empty beds. post-spawn already?? anyway only caught 3 or 4 and lost a good one which i believe was a nice smallie. i think all this bad weather took a toll on the fishing. the lake had a summer look amongst the islands as i could not beleive how weed choke it is already. reports seem to be the same as some club was out there and did not do well here either. hoping for some more stable weather to come along and get those fishies active again.

They have been on beds for at least 3 weeks there, i caught some post spawners there last week as well. I still saw plenty of beds with fish on them last week, hope there not totally done. I'll be out there next week sometime, hope to still get some on beds.

hoping still on beds also for next week as i'll be there for OBM's opening weekend tournament.
as i see & hear, lake getting fished pretty good right now and only to make the fish more skittish. but as they say, someone gets them figured out and brings in a nice sack. also sounds like for once a great week weatherwise. sunny & upper 70's......
