I'm planning on moving to a new server within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Just a little friendly warning as there might be a few hours of odd behavior when the process starts. I will try to have it done at night or weekend.

I would like introduce to you the Average Joe Fishermen. A motley crew made up of three guys who are just plain average when it comes to fishing. Like the rest of the fishing world they read lots of articles in magazines and forums in an effort to apply what they have read to catch more fish. They have had some skill passed down from parents or grandparents but not much. They truly desire to be great fisherman. They think, dream and spend money on fishing. It is not uncommon for them to be seen in their yards trying to develop a new skill. Most people, when walking by, will steer their children in the opposite direction while telling them, "Don't make eye contact honey!"

We will hopefully learn a lot from all of you here and we will share our attempts to outsmart trout, bass, salmon, panfish and the occasional saltwater variety. Most of the time however we are prtty sure the fish will outsmart us!

Ryan and Scott love to fish for trout in smaller streams. They even have some fly fishing equipment! That is a big step in the right direction after using Barbie poles for most of their adult lives!

Tim is our resident bass fisherman. He recently broke down and bought a used Ranger bass boat. Does it make him a better fisherman? Heck no! But now he looks like he knows what he doing while he is getting skunked!

Thanks for having us. One of us will post a report soon.

Well, if nothing else, your posts are entertaining to read.  Welcome to the site, guys.

Welcome.  Happy to have you all here.  Is there really 3 different guys or is there just one schizophrenic?  ???  I'm sure we can help "all" of you be better fisherman.

Original song and lyrics by "MadWags"

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.

AverageJoeFish

Thanks for the welcome guys.  Yes there really are three of us as desctibed above.  All the blog writing goes through me, Ryan.  The other two don't like to write, although I really think that's an excuse and don't want to do the work.  =)

Thanks again!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Well... the short story is that it was the Average Joe Fisherman meaning just me.  Not it consumes a few of my friends.  Think of it as a title, or name of a business.   ;D
