8 AM until 2 PM - please arrive no later than 7:20 AM
White Lake, Montague Michigan - Lake Michigan closed, White Lake only to end of channel piers
Montague Ramp - off Water Street ($10 launch fee box)
Entry Fee $5
Big Bass $2

Open to all registered GreatLakesBass.com members only - register on this forum to become a member - no deadline to join.

Format is boater / non-boater draw tournament with boater and nonboater fishing as a team.
5 biggest bass 14 inches or longer (mouth closed) between team members will be weighed to determine finish. Please take good care of your bass with working livewells.

Biggest non-bass fish legally caught (must be in season) and brought in to weigh wins the OTHER FISH category prize!

Please note:
Family members can fish together. Please contact me directly by PM or email to arrange this before the event. Family members must still be a registered member if older than 13. 16 years old or younger must be participating with a parent or legal guardian. Exceptions to this must be discussed with me in advance.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Nonboaters, please bring a life jackets if at all possible to make sure we have enough.

Life jackets must be worn zipped and/or buckled whenever the gas motor is running. Boater must use working kill switch when gas motor is running.

No live bait, artificials only. A Golden Rule courtesy board will be available at the weigh in. You can use your own weigh in bag.

A mini-seminar will be held before we launch on where to fish for anyone interested.

This event is all about everyone catching some fish!!!

One of the main purposes for the DK Open is for everyone to get to know each other so I prefer to draw people out with someone new or that they don't normally fish together.

But the MAIN idea is to have fun and catch bass, so if you want to fish with someone specifically, he/she also needs to be a member if 13 or over and just send me a PM (private message) with both of your screen names saying you want to fish together and I will accommodate you. Have your friend post on here saying he/she is coming also so people can see who is coming and how many please. Thanks for fishing.

If your son 13 or older, I would prefer to have him also be a member if he has his own email address (you can make email addresses private in your profile). You can fish with him.

If you do not want him to be a member here or he is younger than 13, then he does not have to be a member. Either way, please send me a private message (PM) with your screen name telling me his first name and that you want to fish with him. Also state if you prefer to only fish with him and no one else in the boat because of boat size or preference. I need to be sure on that in case I'm short of boats. Thanks for fishing.

Hey Dan,  Put me down as a boater.  I can go both ways though.... errrrrrrrrr  I mean boater or non boater.  I've only been on White twice so I can hop in another boat if need be.  Just let me know when it gets closer, what you need me to do.
