I have a web-site that promotes bass fishing in southwest Michigan.

Hey Bronzeback 6 thanks for the site. Is that site set up by you? I am From the Grand Rapids area and will be back there for Memorial day Weekend. I was just wondering how the fishing was. I am entered in a Wednesday night Gander mountain tournment in rockford on Wabasis Lake and I plan on doing the CATT Sunday or Saturday mourning Tournament series in west michigan. And maybe some NBAA series. The only problem I got is I wanted to get a new boat this year but decided on a new truck instead so all I have to fish with is my 2005 Sylvan 1600 explorer so don't really know if the 50 hp motor it has on it will get me anywhere in those tournaments but I think I am going to try. I fished the gander mountain tournament last year a couple weds nights and did fine, I just don't know what the CATT and NBAA has for its competition. Thanks again for the website let me know if you have some tournaments worth going to.

Last I heard it wasn't a race.
Look past what they want you to see.

I did create southwest michigan bass.  It doesn't matter what kind of boat your fishing from or the size of it's motor.  I won a tournament fishing out of a 12 ft aluminum boat that had a 3 hp motor.  Although, I wasn't fishing Lake Erie.  Just have confidence in what your doing.
