This is a tale of two lakes. Intertwined lakes, in Barry County, Michigan. Where somehow the water has gone away. Upper and Lower Crooked Lakes, both near and dear to me, are suffering from the lowest water levels I've seen in the 35+ years I've been fishing them.

I confirmed this with Jeff Cox - at this time, the dues will remain $75 ($15 national TBF, $25 state TBF and $35 FLW Outdoors) for anyone who does NOT want to fish the state championship in July 2010 on Muskegon Lake.

Anyone who joins after the cutoff for early entry - 12/15/2009 at this time - who does want to fish the July 2010 state championship will need to pay an additional $25 to fish. So get your membership in early if you want to fish the Muskegon state championship for free.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Grassmonkey,
Thanks for starting a new club. Its $75 per member. Please call Dennis or Jeff if you have any questions about registration. Or visit www.michigantbf.com

                           Thanks again,

If you want to have club dues, that is up to you, but the amount you send to TBF of Michigan is $75 per member by 12/15/2009:

$25 TBF of Michigan dues
$15 TBF Inc (national) dues
$35 FLW Outdoors membership*

* That is assuming someone you sign up is not a life member of FLW Outdoors.
