McCarter

i dont have the official results and you all know how great of a memory i have, but i will take a shot at it.

SLUGFEST

1st place McCarter/Barrows 9.7 lbs

2nd place Skaklanian 9.2 lbs

3rd place Veenstra/Veenstra 9.1 lbs

4th place The dudes in the BassCat 9.0 lbs

5th place Yancey 8.8lbs

6th place ??? 8.7 lbs

7th place Budnick/Partner 4.0 lbs

Big Bass McCarter/Barrows 4.59 lbs

On a side note, we found a spot loaded with 2-2.5 lb bass and got a limit really quick and started culling right away, then i hooked into what i was hoping was going to be the mother of all largemouth only to find once i got it in that it was a walleye.  Weighed in at 5.9 lbs.  The very next cast i thought i hooked into the mother of all largemouth again, but again it was a walleye.  this one went about 5 lbs.  As much as i wanted to stay there and try to crack a 20 lb limit of Kent Lake walleye, we left that spot and persued the greater species the rest of the night.

McCarter himself :-\'

Lightningboy

I meanwhile, spent the night on good spots.  But with all the wrong baits.

Big bass outweighed my total weight.  The shame... :-[
